Privacy policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This notice explains how Symly Ltd., trading as Symly Dental, uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us about a demo, pricing or our services. It does not cover patient records or personal information held within the Symly practice application, which requires separate privacy information and agreements.
Who we are
Symly Ltd. is the controller for website enquiries. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17162506. Our registered office is Piccadilly Business Centre Unit C Aldow Enterprise Park, Blackett Street, Manchester, United Kingdom, M12 6AE. Contact us at [email protected] about your information or this notice.
Information we use
If you email us, we receive your email address, name and any practice details, contact information or other information you include, together with our correspondence. Please do not send patient records or health information when requesting a demo.
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes. We do not add advertising cookies, analytics tracking or a website enquiry form. Demo and contact links open your own email application.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to answer questions, arrange demos, discuss pricing and follow up on your request. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to potential customers and explaining our services. Where we take steps at your request before entering a contract with you personally, the lawful basis is those pre-contract steps. We may also retain or disclose information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
Service providers and overseas processing
We use GitHub Pages to host this website and Hostinger to provide our enquiry email service. These providers process information to deliver their services and may use infrastructure or service providers outside the UK. Their policies explain their processing and international-transfer arrangements: GitHub’s privacy statement, Hostinger’s privacy policy and Hostinger’s data processing addendum.
Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for a transfer, these may include an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry or to request a copy of applicable safeguards. Information may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities where needed to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as necessary to handle your request and any resulting business relationship. When deciding how long it is needed, we consider whether the enquiry remains active, whether we need a record of our discussions, and any applicable legal obligations or claims. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted. Hosting security logs are managed by GitHub under its own retention arrangements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are not absolute. To make a request, email [email protected].
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would welcome the opportunity to address your concern directly.

We will update this page when our website or enquiry-handling practices change. The date above shows when it was last updated.
